TRANSFORMING AN UNDERUSED COURTYARD - QUALITY BRICK PAVING

For this recent project in Adelaide, the existing courtyard had uneven ground, old paving and areas that were no longer level. The goal was to create a clean, durable entertaining area while keeping the classic style of the home.
What We Did
✔ Removed the existing paving and excavated the area to the correct depth.
✔ Prepared and compacted a solid base to provide long-term stability.
✔ Screeded a fresh bedding sand layer for an accurate, level finish.
✔ Carefully laid the brick pavers in a classic stretcher bond pattern.
✔ Installed a contrasting border to frame the courtyard and give it a neat, professional appearance.
✔ Compacted and joint-filled the paving to lock everything into place.
The result is a level, low-maintenance courtyard that complements the home’s existing brickwork and provides a much more functional outdoor living space.
